What a delicious and clear read. For anyone interested in the concepts of meditation who gets turned off by the heavy, esoteric writings about the concept, this is the book for you. This is not about transcendence, it is about why building a skill can help bring consciousness in life at large. The tomato slicing metaphor early in this short and easy-to read book makes it well worth the purchase.
When reading this book I came to the realization that I am not a crazy person. That coming to myself and meeting my dark place can be crazy and scary but worth it.
