If I had 10 stars to give this book would get them I LOVED IT. OMG, I also LOVE Charlie. This guy is all that and more. God should have given serious thought to allowing Serenity Woods to create all men. She has done a much better job of it!!! Charlie is so sweet, kind, smart, funny, a bit misunderstood because he is so smart. However, he found the perfect woman for him.This love story is great. Two really nice people troubled by different issues but finding that person that understands them and loves them unconditionally. Their story is so delicious you will not be able to put the book down once you start reading. I love this series. Just one complaint, there should have been more brothers. I already have downloaded #3 and I don't want the series to end. The stories and the brothers just get better and better.
Charlie is the brains behind the King brother's charity titled We Three Kings. they do medical research, etc. for ill children. If that doesn't stieal your heart, these guy's patients will. The oldest brother is a doctor for children, Charlie researches and builds all the special equipment to treat them, Matt the youngest is an artist and he creates children's books to help them with their treatments and to understand their illness. Boy, their mother must be one proud lady. These books are just too yummy. I love them and highly recommend them. They are sexy so be prepared for the "loving" side of life to appear. It all fits! Great read. You will feel good when you finish the book.

This book, second in a 3 book series, was just as good as the 1st book. Even tho it's just 2 days till Christmas Eve; & I have tons of stuff to do, I plan on starting book 3 tomorrow. This is a new author for me. I'm surprised that I enjoyed this series so much, because, it takes place in Australia. I will read other books by this writer. I'm glad books are so reasonable to buy on . Loved the book. 5 stars all the way
Great story about the second brother who is a research scientist and a newly separated mom. Love the story but the f word and descriptive sex scenes detract in my opinion
I like the interaction between the family members and the fact that Charlie is a little different. What I have really been disappointed about in these first two books is the way things are tried to be tied into a pretty bow at the last minute and try's to suck you into the next book. If you can call them cliff hangers at the end aren't good enough to do that though. I always read the whole series but I'm going to break my own rule I don't need a third present. Sorry.
I will be honest I did not like this book as well as the first one. The first book brought in a lot of the siblings and personal information and really got to know all three of the brothers. This one did not really do that at all, barely focused on the two other brothers all . I missed that personal connection to enhance the story this one just seemed to be all about sex which was not why I was reading the series. Not sure I will read the third book.
He is the one who creates the new medical equipment that is helping kids with critical respiratory illnesses. Charlie is super intelligent but shy. Despite being richer than he knows, he has no TV and his brothers are among his few friends. After a year of frequenting a breakfast cart in order to see a beautiful woman, he finally asks her out only when he hears she's about to leave. Serenity Woods creates characters who quickly feel like friends.
A sweet, but still steamy read. I liked how different Charlie and Ophelia were from a lot of the typical characters in a romance.
Charlie is a bit socially awkward, maybe even on the Asperger side of the autism spectrum, but still a caring and considerate person. Ophelia is trying to get her life back after separating from and starting to divorce her husband. I thought Ophelia's situation was a more realistic look at the difficulty Ophelia has in making a choice for her own well-being, even when her ex-husband uses Ophelia's guilt over splitting up the family when their daughter has cystic fibrosis.
Charlie's honesty about everything, including his social awkwardness, is exactly what Ophelia wants after the games and manipulation her ex played. I loved seeing how Charlie and Ophelia interacted, particularly because we don't see a lot of characters like Charlie, especially in romance.
While I'm not a big fan of the quick-to-love type of romances, I still enjoyed "An Ideal Present." This is part of the "Three Wise Men" series, but stood alone just fine. I liked reading the parts of this story that overlapped with the first book in terms of the brothers interacting with each other, but "An Ideal Present" didn't depend on the first book.
The characters in this book are very well fleshed out and their actions in the book are logical and believable. (I am always happy to read books about people with real issues and not weird, angsty, and illogical issues that cause strife in a book just as a cheap plot twist.)
Even though Charlie is a handsome billionaire, his character has a bit of an underdog feel that makes you love him a bit immediately. He is a nerdy but lovely guy and you want to see him succeed in his romantic pursuit of Ophelia from the start. Ophelia is a struggling single parent doing her best to take care of her daughter and distance herself from her super clingy and jerky soon to be ex husband.
I liked how Charlie made a real effort to get to know Ophelia's daughter and his general caring nature towards those around him, even though he has trouble understanding emotional subtext and non-verbal cues.
By the end of the book I really felt like these two characters not only belonged together, but actually needed each other in a healthy and believable way - I can't think of much higher praise for a romance)
